Six Sentence Sunday – Find Out Why Leesa Loves Kaydyn

In Truth, Dare or Dangerous Intent – I’m tackling not only abuse but rape of our heroine from her past so you can imagine it’s a difficult feat to make sure and handle it well. I wanted to show you a passage that really gives you the feel of my main hero – the one who not only gains her trust but and friendship but reminds her there is a special love out there and while this is during the middle of a wicked game of Truth or Dare – I think you’ll get the point how wonderful Kaydyn is.

Swirling the dark liquid in the glass, Kaydyn took a long sip as he closed his eyes and breathed in the spicy liquid before leaning forward, which enabled him to get within inches of her face. “I might like to see what your saucy dare is but this one is too easy. Truth is there’s little I don’t enjoy or crave about the opposite sex, a sultry woman of my dreams. I love the way the shadows reflect off her face when the moonlight is so dim you can barely make out her delicate features. I can almost feel the soft touch of her skin when it whispers across her breasts as she moves against a tight tee shirt. Her subtle yet sensuous scent, full of musky longing and exotic need as it dazzles my senses.

Nightmares kept Leesa Douglas looking over her shoulder every day and night, running from place to place. A monster from her past had ripped apart her life and gave her reason to fear. Pretending. That had become Leesa’s way of life.  Living in a new country under a new name, after two years, Leesa finally allowed herself to feel peace. Leesa loved her island paradise in the Bahamas. Playing and working with her best friends couldn’t be better, especially since they were four of the most gorgeous men she’d ever laid eyes on. The only problem was, she was keeping a damaging secret from everyone.

Renowned island chef Kaydyn Foster knew something was wrong with his lovely co-worker, the one he longed to share his bed and his life. Sadly, he had no idea how to break Leesa out of her shell until a wicked storm washed out the road from the restaurant where they worked and kept the friends together one night. Playing out a fantasy, Kaydyn suggests a saucy game of Truth or Dare. Throwing inhibition to the wind, the five friends engage in a wanton night of passion. But in the light of day, terrified her secrets would destroy them all, Leesa decides to run. Knowing only he can stop her, Kaydyn wonders if he can find her before the past fractures them forever?

I hope you’ve enjoyed…
