Mmm – and this morning I have a delicious guest on. She has a brand “spanking” new book out and as you might guess, the lovely piece has well spanking in it! I have recently been able to learn more about the woman behind the incredible stories and I can tell you she’s a wicked girl after my own heart. So you know what THAT means. Right? Take a sinful taste of…
DRESSING UP FOR A SPANKING
Thank you, Cassandre for having me to visit your blog! Today I thought I’d talk about dressing for a spanking. I’ve heard that the proper attire at a “spanking party” is a g-string. That makes sense– you get a bare bottomed spanking but you don’t have to show your lady parts (or man parts, as the case may be) to strangers. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the panties down scenario. My husband always orders me to take them off, but I sweetly campaign for them on so he can pull them down. I guess I like the added humility of that position. Or the thought that they help to frame the target.
In The Devil of Whiskey Row, Jake, the hero and disciplinarian, is a bit of a spanko. He’s into the fetish of how the bottom should be dressed for a spanking, too. Here’s what happens when he spanks Cora:
He felt an urgent need to put his hands on her and spank her, and looming behind it, an even greater, dizzying need to snatch her from her feet, throw her on the bed, and pound into her with a violent, animal savagery. He carefully placed his hands on his thighs and looked at them until he had marshaled his desires.
“Why am I spanking you, Cora?” he asked with mustered authority.
Her shoulders sagged slightly. “For cursing,” she mumbled.
“That’s right,” he said. He tugged at her petticoats. “Take these off, please.”
“Yes, sir,” she whispered, untying the string holding them up and allowing them to fall to her ankles. “These, too?” she asked, fingering her drawers nervously. They were the modified drawers all his girls wore—much, much shorter than the normal kind, with ruffles sewn on the bottoms for their can-can dance. They flipped their skirts up in the number to give a peek at their derrières, as the French girls called them.
“Those you can leave on, if you like. But I will be pulling them down.” Ladies’ drawers had a wide slit in the crotch area to facilitate relieving themselves, but it didn’t allow them to open enough in the back for his purpose. Plus, he loved the look of a beautiful, bared bottom, framed by the black stockings and garter belt.
He reached up and untied the drawers, pulling her across his lap with her torso resting on the bed.
The Devil of Whiskey Row
Forced by miserable circumstance to work in a gold rush brothel, Cora Underhill hates what her life has become. When a fire sweeps through her workplace, she welcomes death as an end to it all. But then Jake Diggory crashes through her window for an unwelcome rescue, offering her shelter and a paid position at his establishment. She accepts, in spite of Jake’s fearsome reputation as ‘The Devil Diggory’, and soon sees another side to Jake–the firm but caring side of him which led his girls to name him ‘Daddy Diggs’.
Life at Daddy Diggs’ is an entirely new experience for Cora. Jake has strict rules which he backs up with over the knee discipline, but he will not tolerate any mistreatment of his girls and he can go from playing beautiful music on a piano to defending them with his bare fists. The strangest thing of all, however, is the fact that every girl at Daddy Diggs’ swears that Jake has never slept with her, or with any other woman for that matter, since his fiancée’s death back in Ireland fifteen years ago.
Cora attempts to emulate the other prostitutes at Daddy Diggs’, who enjoy making money, holding power over men and even the act of sex, but she still finds no pleasure in the company of men–until the day she inadvertently arouses the passion of The Devil Diggory. His fierce lovemaking thaws some frozen part of her, but it seems Jake is only attracted to her because she resembles his dead fiancée. Confused by his new feelings for Cora and guilt over his broken vow of celibacy, Jake pushes Cora away. Can he come to terms with his past and claim Cora for his own, or will his grief keep them apart forever?
