Karma and the High Road

Happy Friday to everyone! It’s going to be a gorgeous day here. I’m not a politically correct person nor do I choose my words cautiously. I’m an in your face kind of gal – good or bad. But today I’m at peace oddly enough. Yesterday I had one of those days you kinda question why. Why everything in truth. Why do I bother to be nice toMacGyver being cute people? Why do I write? Why do I try so hard? But then I answered by own questions. I love to write. I have to work. And I still believe good wins out over evil. Done. Life is all good.

But sadly there are despondent people who enjoy either picking on or trying to destroy others. I abhor bullies and will fight to the death for anyone who is being picked on. I’m a tall chick with a wicked smile and cross me and… Well, you know the drill. Funny, yesterday I had an owner who went against the rules of an association and put up a fence without obtaining approval first. Part of my job is to send the basic form violation letter that says stop and you need to apply.

hot ripped guyI received a scathing seven paragraph email about how horrible I am and how stupid I am and how I must have no clue what I’m doing. Really? Buddy, you were in the wrong and you literally scream at me? Eh, that’s all in a normal day’s work being an Association Manager of community associations. We babysit large children who have no clue how to play in the sandbox. The truth is every career is like this including writing.

I told someone yesterday not to do a knee jerk to something so blatantly on purpose it reeked of stupidity. I also told someone yesterday that Karma was a bitch – thankfully. In two different jobs. And there’s a great movie – “The American President” where a famous line is “don’t swing a pitch in the sand”. What do these all have in common? Look the other sunrise1reducedway. Be nice. Care about the things that matter.

In an effort to do so and since I know what Karma can do I offer you lovely pictures to start your day off right. My mama (God rest her soul) used to say “Kill them with kindness”. So I say – to all you unhappy, disgruntled people I am here to help and remind you to love and laugh, do something nice for your friends and a stranger and simply stop and smell the spring flowers. It’s going to be a great day today!
